1. Prize awards will be determined from the pool of registered individuals for the OzarkCon 2025 Conference. Ozarkcon registration will be closed, prior to the event, by the registration chairman. Registered persons who have fully paid will have some advantage, in that we’ll draw several prizes prior to the start of OzarkCon for that pool of people. At-the-door registration prize tickets will be added to the hopper as they arrive but are not eligible for the pre-conference drawing.
2. All prize decisions will be made by the OzarkCon 2025 prize chairman and if a contested event occurs, his decisions are final.
3. Prizes may be presented to any individual, properly registered for OzarkCon except that, in the event the award has the potential of transmitting signals on the Amateur radio bands, the registrant shall be able to verify to the satisfaction of the prize chairman that he or she is a bona fide amateur radio operator licensee. Anyone unable to meet the above condition will be presented an alternate award. This award may or may not be of an equal value to the primary award (this includes the Major prizes.)
4. Prize winners must be present to win*.
5. Prize winners will be announced at various times during the event for regular prizes.
6. Major Prizes will be drawn near the end of the OzarkCon 2025 event.
7. Since prize winners must be present to win*, we’ll re-draw unclaimed prizes at the end of the event, just prior to the Major Prize drawings.
8. Major Prizes will be drawn from the entire pool of registered individuals with the caveat expressed in section 3. (Anyone that previously won a "regular" prize is back in the pool for the Major Prizes.) ONLY ONE MAJOR PRIZE WILL BE AWARDED PER INDIVIDUAL, no matter how many prize tickets may be in possession.
9. *The only exception to the in-person requirement is that we’ll have one Major Prize as a pre-conference registration drawing. That prize will be awarded with no restrictions on in-person attendance. We’ll ship it, if the registration winner does not happen to be in attendance.
